Of course everyone knows, Disneyland is my ultimate happy place...I mean it is called "The Happiest Place on Earth!" July 17th, 2015 was the park's officially 60th Anniversary. Happy Birthday, Disneyland! I was eager to attend, but in proper threads. So I whipped up a Mickey Mouse Club ensemble in homage of the original 1955 crew...poodle skirt and all. I wanted to go with a classic black felt skirt to give the illusion of black-and-white television as well as incorporate the theme music we all know and love with music notes. I created everything by hand, including the detailed music notes and mickey mouse club logo. I added a vintage Mickey Mouse Aladdin brand Lunch pale most of grew up with and a lovely handmade gift from Melanie who owns "Femme De Bloom" on etsy. Her earrings were the cutest handmade Mickey Mouse Club logo earrings. They are my absolute favorite now!

Not only did I have an amazing time with friends, but I also had the priviledge of meeting a few original Mousketeers and the President of the Disneyland Resort. Here he is in the picture below PHOTOBOMBING! It was an absolute amazing time!
