I grew up wanting to be Wanda from Crybaby...Traci Lords to be exact! I cut my bangs because of her and grabbed everything I could in polka dots. Traci's character was my first exposure to the modern rockabilly scene and I was only 11. So when I hear Laura Byrnes of Pinup Girl Clothing was bringing Traci Lords on as a designer for her own branch of clothing I was so excited, but when I heard Traci was making an appearance at the Burbank boutique...I was in shock! I couldn't wait to finally meet her!

| Meeting Traci for the first time...I was so nervous that the words that came out of my mouth was "I grew up watching your movies!" not what I meant...obviously! I meant I grew up watching Crybaby religiously. I laughed so hard that moment...and she knew why. |
