My DIY Santa Skirt

I recently created a "Santa Choo Choo Train" Gathered Swing Skirt. It was so much fun to make and even more fun to wear! It turned out perfect for my date with my Disney Family at the Parks. I was lucky enough to snag this print from Joann's (www.joann.com)  online during their "Black Friday" cyber sale, and at a steal I might add. Sure enough, right after I made my purchase they had sold out of the material. I was also lucky enough to find a bag of vintage sewing notions, like thread and metal zippers, recently at the thrift store. In that bag was a red metal zipper that I added to my skirt for that vintage feel. I paired my skirt with my Olive Green Lauren Top from Pinup Girl Clothing (www.pinupgirlclothing.com)
I am starting to sell my circle skirts and Disney Inspired Poodle Skirts in my etsy shop (www.realandyseyecandy.etsy.com)

Phyllis Navidad and Christmas Time at the Parks

Here are some more amazing photographs by my friend John of our recent trip to Disneyland, which was also the day of Phyllis Herman's "Phyllis Navidad ". The park has been looking amazingly beautiful with their gorgeous Christmas Decorations. The park just feels amazing this time of year.

Disneyland Family

The parks have recently spruced up with Holiday Decorations and my "Disney Family", as I like to call them, and I have gone together quite a few times to enjoy the festivities. Just wanted to share some of the great memories we have made recently.

Superhero Day

I work at an Elementary School, so of course Themed Days are a must. We recently celebrated Super Hero Day where many of our students got to wear their favorite super hero shirt. I on the other hand took it to the next level. I couldn't resist buying this Superman Bed Sheet that I quickly converted into a Circle Skirt. The benefits of knowing how to sew. I loved it and can't wait to turn more cute printed bed sheets into circle skirts.
